February Hello everyone, February is the 3rd month of the quarter, and is a 30 day month, Jan 31st until Mar 1st. Our flying follows the same pattern as for January, with 10-position lines for SFO and 828 on Wednesdays, 6-position lines for SGN and 896, and 1-position lines, which have a mixture of everything. However, there are 31 fewer positions for February. Here is the daily breakdown, with January's figures as a comparison... FEB JAN 862 : 10-12 + M + C 11 + M + C 828 : 12 + M* 10 + M 869 : 06-07 + C + V* 07-08 + C + V* 896 : 06-07 + M* 09-10 + M* * not daily. There will be 219 non-LQ, 20 MAN, 13 CTN and 03 VTN, for a total of 255 lineholder positions. Line average is 8408. January's figures are 286 @ 8355. Bid accordingly, and enjoy the month. We will continue to fly 862 daily and 828 on Wed, but we will also hold base positions on 896 ( 9 HKG and 2 ORD). LQ flying will also change; CTN will fly only 862 daily and 869 daily, and MAN will fly 862 daily, and a mixture of 828/896 ( 7 roundtrips a week, meaning all 4-day trips ). VTN language trips will remain the same. ORD LQ flight attendants will cover the positions we are "losing".
